We could hardly believe that children aged 10 to 16, by the end of the AI Literacy course, were already using AI tools for their Project-Based Learning (PBL) in truly creative and meaningful ways. They began to:
  • Write their own books
  • Create original comics
  • Compose poems
  • Develop literary characters
  • Craft stories and animate them
  • Design lesson presentations
  • Use AI to better understand tasks that were unclear in the classroom
Back in 2023-2024 there was a common concern that children would use AI only to cheat on homework or tests

However, after completing our first AI Literacy courses, these stereotypes started to fade. Instead, we observed a strong shift towards collaborative, creative, and purposeful AI use in the classroom, where students and teachers worked together to explore, learn, and research.
